The Product

Envision AI empowers blind and low vision people to be independent by speaking out the visual world in front of them. It is a smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence to read all kinds of text from any surface, recognise faces, describe scenes, find objects, scan barcodes, detect colours and so much more. It is the best all-in-one tool in the pocket of a blind or low vision user for all of their visual recognition tasks.

The role

The need for the role

Envision has been a user-obsessed company from day one. We have always closely engaged with our end users, listened to their feedback and developed our products accordingly. That's the reason the product has now grown and is loved by thousands of users across the world.
However, with this growth come new challenges of how to listen to and serve the needs of thousands of users. That's why we now need to establish a scalable customer success strategy that will allow us to effectively engage with all our users, without losing the human touch.

The role description

  • We will need you to understand and analyse our diverse user base to segment their usage and requirements.
  • Build a unified user engagement strategy that will make it easy for us to gain insights into user's issue and provide them with a timely resolution.
  • Work with the design team to build a Help Center for both the Envision App and Glasses which will comprise of key content like Tutorials, Knowledge Articles and FAQs.
  • Work closely with the development team, to pass on the issues and bugs that user's report and understand product roadmap that you can share with the users.
  • Coordinate with suppliers of Envision Glasses to empower them to help their customers locally.
  • In addition to resolving user issues, we need you to be equally engaged in thinking about how we can ensure users get more out of Envision's service to achieve personal success.

The Candidate we are looking for:

  • 3-5 years of relevant user or customer interaction experience.
  • Love for interacting with people.
  • Adaptable and stress resistance.
  • Medium- to long-term focus.
  • Structured: good at planning and prioritising.
  • Technical know-how and experience with software development.
  • Ability to take initiative, craft and lead the customer support strategy.
  • Experience in the assistive technology industry is a plus.
  • Slight preference for candidates based in the Netherlands.
