Each Envision Glasses have a unique 16-digit alpha-numeric serial number. This number can be found in the back of the Envision Body, on the inside, just above the power button.

My hotspot is not detected by the Envision Glasses?

In some cases your hotspot might not be detected by the device. In this case make sure the option ‘Allow others to Join’ is enabled. Besides that, it is also essential to know whether the provider of your sim card enables creating a personal hotspot. You can try to connect other phones with your personal hotspot to see whether that works. As a final check, see whether your internet connection is strong enough. If you are still not able to connect to the hotspot, don’t hesitate to contact the Envision Customer Service team.

How can I unpair the Envision Glasses in order to pair them with a different device?

If you want to pair your glasses with a different device, you can follow the steps below:Step 1: Make sure that the app has been unpaired from the glasses by going to the glasses tab, select ‘Device Settings’ and click on ‘Unpair Envision Glasses’. Step 2: Set the glasses into pairing mode. You can do that on the glasses by going to the main menu. Are the Envision Glasses waterproof?

The Google Glass 2 is IP65 certified. This means they are rated as dust tight and protected against water projected from a nozzle. The device is water resistant to 1 meter, so cleaning it with a disinfectant wipe or a damp, non-abrasive, cloth and mild soap is appropriate. Ideally, the Google Glass 2 should not be completely submerged.

Why is the camera not capturing what is in front of my face or not reading a document properly?

It might take some trial and error to point the camera effectively. The camera is placed on the right side of your face and its field of vision goes roughly from your right shoulder to the center of your face, so you should place any object that you want to be captured by the camera in front of you, as if you were holding it in your right hand and your right arm was extended and perpendicular to your chest. The camera is also slightly higher than your eye.

How can I teach faces to my Envision Glasses?

The teaching faces process is done through the Envision AI app. You can teach faces in the Feature Preferences on the Envision app. In the Envision app, take about 5-10 pictures in different angles of the person's face you want Envision to recognize. Save the images and wait a couple of seconds for Envision to crunch its brain. The faces you have taught Envision, will be spoken out when you scan the person's face.

I paired the glasses with my iPhone and now I can't use it as a hotspot. How can I connect to my own phone's internet network?

If you are trying to use your iPhone as a hotspot, but that is also the same phone you paired the glasses with, you can only connect to the internet by using the QR code scanning feature on the Envision Glasses. ‍For this to work, you need make sure that the Personal Hotspot Screen on your iPhone is open and that the option Allow Other to Join is active. While remaining on that screen on your iPhone, you can then follow the steps to connect to a wi-fi network using a QR code. The QR code will have to be generated on a different device (either your computer or another phone/tablet), because you cannot exit thePersonal Hotspot Screen on your iPhone during this process.

How do I clean the glasses?

Isopropyl alcohol wipes and other cleaning wipes safe for human skin may be used to clean and lightly sterilize the surfaces of the device. Exporting scanned text?

The Envision Glasses have the possibility to export the text to the library on the Envision app. Step 1: Double-tap on Scan Text and take a scan of the text that you would like to have exported. The text will open in the Reader. Step 2: Now, in the Reader, do a two-finger single tap, this will export the text. Step 2: Open your Envision app on your phone. Step 3: Go to the Envision app library and select ‘Import File’ and then ‘Import from Glasses”. The scanned text will then be available in the library on the Envision app. Step 4: If needed, you can download the scanned text or share it with other apps on your phone.

How can I connect my Envision Glasses to a protected network?

You'll need to give your Envision Glasses mac address to the IT office that manages that network and ask them to manually whitelist it. You can find the mac address in the About menu of the glasses (it will be read out loud and it will also appear on the front screen).

The projection on the glass screen is not centered?

If you are making use of the visual interface, it can happen that the projection is not centered on the screen and part of it is cut off. You can solve this issue by gently pushing the glass screen forward or back. Hold the body in your right hand, close to the screen, and use your index finger and thumb to change the inclination of the screen (either towards or away from you). By shifting its inclination you can allow it to better capture the projection.

What can the glasses do in the offline mode?

The following features do not require an internet connection: Instant Text (when the offline mode is activated), Detect colors, Find Objects, Find People, and Explore. It is possible to use Instant Text offline only to read Latin-based languages.

Why are my Envision Glasses not connecting to my iPhone hotspot?
