Inclusive Innovations is an interactive, in-person one-day event at Domstad in Utrecht, that shines a light on the transformative potential disruptive assistive technologies have on increasing independence and inclusivity for people who are blind or who have low vision.

The day was packed with inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and unique networking opportunities. Attendees learned from thought-provoking speakers and tech experts who presented their insights and ideas for a more inclusive future, gaining knowledge from those actively implementing accessibility in their work.

The event was free to attend and 100% accessible, inviting attendees to contribute to shaping the future of innovation for inclusivity.

A glimpse of our demo in Inclusive Innovations

Step into the world of inclusion and technology with our latest video, captured during the Inclusive Innovations event at Envision.

Event program

"Inclusive Innovations" kicked off with a workshop session from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This was followed by our speaker program, which ran from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Concluding the event, participants joined us for a networking tech fair and reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

IAm Design Session

The inclusive labour design session, open to both makers and experts, was available in both English and Dutch. This workshop provided an engaging opportunity for participants to collaborate and innovate.

App accessibility workshop

The workshop on navigating the intricate pathways of the digital realm was conducted in English, offering attendees insights into the complexities of the digital world.

Is the event conducted in English or Dutch?

Inclusive Innovations is primarily an English-speaking event. However, the 'IAm Design Session' in the morning accommodates Dutch speakers. Since the event is in the Netherlands, the networking fair allows for conversations in various languages. If you prefer, there are applications available that can translate English into your native language, enabling you to follow the speaker program seamlessly.
