Envision App Version 3.4: Revamped Describe Scene and Enhancing Ask Envision!
Welcome to the latest update of the Envision App. Here’s what’s new in version 3.4.0:

• Revamped Describe Scene: Now, not only can you select between a short or long description after capturing an image in Describe Scene, but you can also opt to directly engage with our new, exciting feature—‘Ask Envision about Images’. This allows you to ask questions about the image immediately, enhancing your interaction.
• Adjustable Timer in Describe Scene: Set a 3-second timer to suit your pace of capturing. scene: take it slow or skip the wait.
• Upgraded Envision It: Access the familiar ‘Envision It’ feature through the share sheet, and now with ‘Ask Envision’, start inquiring about images from your gallery right away.

We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting new feature to the Envision App – “Ask Envision about Text.”

This innovative feature allows you to seamlessly engage with your scanned documents and library content by simply asking questions to the assistant. Whether you need summaries, translations, or insights into specific details, “Ask Envision about Text” has you covered and can be accessed from the Reader.

To enhance the accessibility and convenience of this feature, we’re also introducing a new “Voice Mode.” With Voice Mode, you can interact with the AI by simply using your voice, eliminating the need for typing. Speak your questions to the app, and it will provide you with the information you seek.

• Instant text feature and Document Reader, will automatically try to check the language of the document and read it in the best possible way. This can now also be turned off by disabling the "Auto Language Detection", which then will use the user preferred language.

• Introducing the new Explore Feature. With ‘Explore’, your device’s camera becomes an intuitive guide. Think of it as an evolution of our ‘Find Object’ feature. While ‘Find Object’ zeroes in on a specific item, ‘Explore’ introduces you to every recognizable object in its view.

Envision 3.0 is out and if you update to this version you’ll be able to use Envision entirely free of cost. We’d like to thank all our subscribers over the years for their support of the app.
Some major changes with this update:

• We’ve improved the speed of Scan Text greatly with this version. It’s still incredibly accurate with reading text.
• We’ve also improved offline instant text with this update. Now it can read text in any orientation (even if the image is upside down).

Introducing our all new and improved Offline Instant Text!

• It is now more accurate than before.
• It is capable of reading text upside down or sideways.
• We added support for more languages to be read offline such as: Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, Korean, Marathi, Nepali and Sanskrit.
• You now also have the possibility to select a preferred language. This is located above the Instant Text button.

• Images now shared with Envision or imported from the Envision Library now opens the document reader with the description about the image as well as the text inside the Image
