Alt Text is a description of your visual content so that people with a visual impairment can know what you’re posting as well. Often people with a visual impairment will use a screen reader function to hear the Alt Text spoken out to them. Here we will explain how you can add Alt Text to your Tweets so you can contribute to making the digital world a bit more accessible.

1. Start writing your tweet and add your visual

2. Click “edit”

3. Click “ALT” and add the description of your visual

4. Click “save” and send out your Tweet with Alt Text.
