How to add Alt Text to LinkedIn?

Here we will explain how you can add Alt Text to your LinkedIn posts so you can contribute to making the digital world a bit more accessible.

Alt Text is a description of your visual content so that people with a visual impairment can know what you’re posting as well. Often people with a visual impairment will use a screen reader function to hear the Alt Text spoken out to them. Here we will explain how you can add Alt Text to your LinkedIn posts so you can contribute to making the digital world a bit more accessible.

1. Click “start a post” at the top of your LinkedIn timeline

2. Select the visual you would like to upload

3. Click “Alt.Text

4. Write your description of the visual and click “Save”

5. Click “done” to upload your post.
